The living roadmap is at <https://roadmap.gamegpt.gg>, updated as work ships. This chapter is the summary as of August 2026.

**Shipped: the new foundation.** The platform was rebuilt from scratch (Builder, Arcade and the admin console) on a clean codebase with a security-first publishing pipeline, and production moved to the new stack. Multi-model generation with live streaming and iteration memory; signed, reviewed publishing; the Arcade rewards loop (leaderboards, streaks, quests, lootboxes, tournaments with verified scores).

**Now: GameGPT 2D.** The first public launch of the new platform: two-dimensional games for mobile and desktop, made in minutes, that look good out of the box. In progress: the asset library (starting with the NFT collection as in-game art), the GameGPT game-dev eval, design polish across Builder and Arcade, the creator experience, a community helper that answers questions about the platform in our Discord and Telegram communities, and tournament prize payouts. Payouts are part way there: when a paid tournament ends the placings are settled automatically, one award per place, and in-platform prizes reach winners straight away, while paying cash prizes out to wallets is still being wired. Next: animated assets, creator subscriptions (PRO and PREMIUM), and the 2D launch campaign. Later in this phase: native Arcade apps for iOS and Android.

**Next: GameGPT 3D.** The same idea in three dimensions: open-world style games generated from a description, built on WebGL so they still run in the browser, played in the Arcade with the same rewards, leaderboards and tournaments.

**Later: GameGPT Unity.** GameGPT drives the Unity engine directly, so creators get real engine output from a conversation: scenes, logic, assets and builds that a studio can take further.

**Later: GameGPT Unreal.** The same play against Unreal Engine, for the highest-fidelity games the platform can make.

Each dimension is the same platform pointed at a bigger engine and a bigger audience. Creators, players, the arcade economy and the tooling carry forward; what changes is what you can build and who shows up to build it.
