GameGPT is a two-sided market.

**Supply: creators**

Creators buy credit packs to use the Builder. Credits are what generation and iteration consume. PRO and PREMIUM subscriptions for regular creators are coming next, to provide credits on a recurring basis alongside the packs. Buying credits is what lets a creator build a game and submit it for review so it can be published to the Arcade. There is no free tier for building. We may later add ways for first-time creators to earn credits or redeem a code, so that people who have never bought credits can try the Builder.

Creators who publish games share in the revenue their games generate on the platform. Our intent is that the majority of that revenue goes to the creator.

**Demand: players**

Playing is free. A player creates an account and can play published games at no cost, with no wallet required.

Players who want to compete for real-money prizes use the paid mechanisms, first among them tournaments: buy a ticket, play, and the verified score decides the result.

Free players can still reach real value through the rewards loop. Daily quests earn shards; shards open lootboxes; lootboxes occasionally carry a monetary reward that can leave the platform. This is deliberately rare and small. The value given to free players is a marketing cost, an acquisition subsidy sized so that it never drains the business or pressures the token.

To fund that subsidy, free players may see ads between matches. Paying users, whether a subscribing creator or a player in a paid tournament, do not see ads. The ad revenue generated by free players pays for the rewards in their lootboxes.

Can you make money for free on GameGPT? Yes, in a small way. Can you make money on the paid side? Yes. The free path is funded by ads and marketing, not by token emissions, so growing the free player base does not create sell pressure on the token.

**Tournaments**

Tournaments are the Arcade's competition layer. Each tournament has a total prize pool. GameGPT takes a 10% tournament fee. How that fee is allocated, across token buybacks, additional prizes, and the team's operating costs, will be published at a later date for visibility; we are not stating those percentages today. The team curates the tournaments that are live; player-launched tournaments come later, once the player base can support them. Sponsors may fund tournament prize pools in exchange for visibility on the platform.

**Payment rails**

All revenue on GameGPT is denominated in US dollars. On crypto rails that means USDC. Tickets, subscriptions, credits and in-app spend are priced and settled in dollars. Players and creators are never required to hold the token to use the platform, and there are no token-denominated discounts.

**Referrals**

We plan a referral program that shares value with the people who bring new creators and players to GameGPT. Mechanics and terms will be published when the program launches.

**Where revenue comes from**

Live today: creator credit packs and tournament tickets. Planned: PRO and PREMIUM creator subscriptions, automated tournament prize pools and fees, asset packs and premium creator tiers, sponsor-funded tournaments, and ads shown to free players. Revenue from all of these settles in dollars, and a portion of what the protocol earns flows into the token mechanism described next.
